The athletic therapist/ equipment manager will be responsible for player injuries, sicknesses and general trainer and equipment manager duties. You must have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills, work well individually and as part of the team. You must be flexible with hours and have a good understanding of the hockey environment.
Athletic Therapists are one of the first people at the field/pitch/rink and are there until the last athlete leaves. Their efforts are often behind the scenes. This blog serves to highlight the work done by Athletic Therapists and the Athletic Therapy profession in general.
